How to get an Alaska plumber license

  1. Meet the experience requirements:
    1. Journeyman: 8,000 hours
    2. Restricted PG (Gas): 4,000 hours
    3. Restricted PU (Utility): 1,000 hours
  2. Complete and submit an application and $50 application fee
  3. Study for and pass your exam
  4. Upon passing & approval pay $200 licensing fees
