Each state has their own plumbing license renewal process. Sometimes it must be completed by mailing in a form, or in-person at the state office and sometimes it can be completed online.

Continuing education is necessary for license renewal in many states and each one has its own education requirements including total hours, what topics the hours must cover and how the state must be notified of those hours.

Some states perform audits of a set sample to make sure licensees are completing their hours. Others require licensees to submit a copy of their certificate with their license renewal. Lastly, there are states that require continuing education providers to report hours directly to the state.

For states where we are permitted to report hours, we report completions on a regular basis. We typically submit completed hours to the state within five (5) business days. It may take longer for the hours to post with the state depending on their system.

Some states have us email completion records whereas some states allow us to upload information directly to their system. We take state reporting very seriously, and we have a dedicated team of professionals that work diligently on correctly reporting hours to the state.

For other states that need hours reported directly from you, the student, our courses provide a downloadable and printable certificate of completion that confirms the number of education hours you took.
