How to Get an Idaho Plumbing License
- Meet the requirements for eligibility*
- Journeyman
- Complete an approved 4-year education course
- Possess 4 years work experience (8,000 hours) supervised by a licensed Journeyman
- Plumbing Contractor
- Possess an active Journeyman license
- Minimum of 2.5 years’ experience as a licensed journeyman
- Proof of compliance bond
- Journeyman
- Submit an application for examination
- Study for and pass your exam
- Submit an application for licensure along with required fees
