How to Get a Kentucky Journeyman Plumber License

  1. Have at least two consecutive years of experience as an apprentice OR have completed a department-approved course along with one year of experience as an apprentice.
  2. Submit a Plumbing Examination Registration Form along with a passport-sized color photograph.
  3. Pay required fee(s).
  4. Pass the written and practical portions of the examination.
