- Best installation practices: Strategies for planning, materials selection and a concise look at relevant U.S. codes
- Sizing techniques: Assigning drainage fixture units (DFU), determining system drainage load, calculating horizontal drainage slope using Darcy and Manning’s formula and alternative sizing methods
- Fluid dynamics: Designing the system and arranging the piping layout
- Alternative system options: Green and sustainable practices; advanced and innovative sanitary drainage systems
- Grease interceptors: How to properly place, install and maintain these devices to reduce clogs caused by fats, oils and grease (F.O.G.)
